Mr. Konrad Kąkol
A lawyer at the Kraków Bar Association. A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Management Program in Corporate Finance (Kozminski University in Warsaw), the Postgraduate Studies in Tax Law (Kozminski University in Warsaw), the Postgraduate Studies in Business Restructuring and Recovery Management (SGH Warsaw School of Economics), the Diploma in English and European Union Law (British Law Centre in cooperation with the University of Cambridge), and the Leadership Programme (Experiential Learning Hub). Managing Partner at J. Dauman Legal and a partner in the international advisory group J. Dauman Finance, based in London.
He gained experience in renowned law firms providing advice on commercial and corporate law. He is an expert in company law, M&A transactions, and international law. A practising foreign lawyer in the United Kingdom, he advises on English corporate and commercial law to major Polish entities operating in the market of England and Wales. In the Polish market, he has advised international and domestic companies in the real estate, energy, environmental protection, food, press, financial, and new technology sectors and has supervised corporate governance in capital groups.
He has conducted numerous joint venture projects involving international investors, comprehensive mergers and acquisitions of enterprises, and processes of holding reorganisations. He combines knowledge of commercial law and securities law with expertise in accounting and financial matters.
He is the author of scientific and press publications on commercial law, restructuring, and compliance. He holds mediation credentials obtained from the Mediation Centre of the Polish Bar Council.
