Mr. Remigiusz Paszkiewicz
He holds a degree from the Warsaw University of Technology and completed his doctoral studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. Additionally, he pursued postgraduate studies at the College of Europe in Natolin and attended the JFK School of Government at Harvard University for the Innovation and Technology Seminar.
His professional journey began in 1996 at the Ministry of Finance, where he held various positions, including Director of the Minister’s Office and Director General. From 2001 to 2007, he was associated with the National Bank of Poland, serving as Director of the President’s Cabinet. Between 2007 and 2009, he served on the Board of Orlen Finance AB, specializing in corporate bond issuance. He was also affiliated with PKN Orlen S.A. from 2007 to 2008, holding roles such as Deputy Director of the Capital Group and Vice President of Unipetrol Trade.
In 2009, he assumed the position of Board Member, and in 2010, he became President of Anwil S.A., a leading chemical synthesis company in Poland. From 2012 to 2015, he served as President of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., overseeing the largest modernization program in the history of Polish railways. Finally, between 2015 and 2020, he held the position of Vice President of the Board at Ukrainian Railways – JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
